Teen Patti Hand Ranking Guide
Recognise the common three-card combinations.

THE COMMON ORDER, HIGH TO LOW
- Trail: three matching ranks, such as 9♠, 9♥, 9♣.
- Pure sequence: consecutive ranks in one suit, such as 5♥, 6♥, 7♥.
- Sequence: consecutive ranks across suits, such as 5♥, 6♣, 7♠.
- Colour: one suit without consecutive ranks, such as 2♣, 6♣, 10♣.
- Pair: two matching ranks, such as K♥, K♣, 4♠.
- High card: none of the combinations above.
RANK THE CATEGORY BEFORE THE CARDS
A pair belongs to a different category from a high-card hand. Start by identifying the category, then use the table’s comparison rules when both hands share it. Ace ordering and tied hands need particular attention because table variants may handle them differently.
